NÚA begins with an idea of nakedness understood as a direct relationship between matter and light. The piece expresses itself through texture, translucency, and shadow, turning the material into a luminous skin. Its vertical relief creates a continuous rhythm of light and shadows that travels across the surface, giving it a changing, precise, and emotional presence.
This relationship takes shape in a cylindrical volume with a strong vertical character, in which the pleated texture envelops and shapes the light. Developed in different heights and typologies—pendant, ceiling, and table — the collection allows us to create individual pieces or compositions in which the volumes establish relationships of scale, rhythm, and depth.

At a·emotional light, we understand design as a continuous exploration of new ways to transform light through matter.
From Galicia, we experiment with materials, textures and techniques to create pieces with an identity of their own, individually handcrafted in our atelier.
NÚA emerges from this approach to design. An essential geometry gives material the leading role: painted stainless steel mesh that, through pleating, acquires volume, depth and a rhythm of light and shadow capable of transforming a universal form into a piece with a distinctive character.
A collection conceived to blend naturally into very different spaces and architectural languages while retaining everything that makes it recognisable.

We seek the essential to find the unexpected.
The design process behind NÚA begins with a conscious decision: to remove the unnecessary and concentrate the strength of the piece on what makes it distinctive.
The simplicity of its geometry contrasts with the richness of its skin. It is through its surface that NÚA acquires character, and through repetition that it reveals new possibilities.
An essential form, strong enough to stand on its own and, when multiplied, to create compositions with greater scale and presence.
To reduce, refine, find balance. To understand simplicity not as absence, but as a deliberate choice that makes space for matter, light and new ways of inhabiting space.
