2023, a year of emotions.

2023 has been a year full of design, light and emotions. We started the year working on all the new lamps that, in April, we brought to light at the largest design event in Europe: Euroluce.

3,2,1… the countdown is coming to an end! The International Lighting Exhibition, Euroluce, will open its doors to the public next 4 April in Milan, and at arturo alvarez we are getting ready to present our new 2017 collections.

After our successful participation at Salone del Mobile in Milan and ICFF in New York, many specialized publications all around the world featured the new Arturo Álvarez’s artwork and design collections. Once more Arturo Álvarez presented his new proposals at Euroluce. This time he surprised and amazed the public and the critics with the incorporation of a new concept of artistic lighting to his display space. We have just arrived from Milan, where we lived an unforgettable experience at Euroluce, and we are already preparing a new trip. This time we are crossing the Atlantic to participate in three major design appointments in the USA: HD Expo in Las Vegas, ICFF in New York and NeoCon in Chicago The subtle charm of Ura, the mysterious world of Pili and the marine inspiration of Onn collection will glow in these exhibitions. SEE YOU AT EUROLUCE

From 4 to 9 April arturo alvarez will be in Milan presenting the new 2017 designs at Euroluce, the International Lighting Exhibition, which runs in the broader context of the Salone del Mobile. Onn, Pili, Ura and Ballet collections will glow in the global benchmark lighting exhibition, where innovation and design culture take center stage.

INNOVATIVE MATERIALS, UNIQUE SHAPES

The emotion which arises from our lighting has much to do with the materials employed. Arturo Álvarez seeks on them a way to shape light and create new languages to express experiences and feelings. Through exploration and decontextualization of quotidian elements he achieves new and surprising uses, and his own materials, such as SIMETECH®. The different textures and characteristics allow light to express itself through brightness, chiaroscuro and different levels of intensity. Organic, geometric and even whimsical shapes emerge from this experimentation in the new 2017 collections.

NEW DESIGNS 2017

Innovative materials, surprising shapes, lighting designed to create emotions… The collections Arturo Álvarez is presenting in 2017 are the expression of the strong connection and influence on his work of the European Atlantic nature, filled with splendor and mystery. Organic, geometric and even whimsical forms, with different plays of lights and shadows. The simplicity and elegance of the pieces reach the spectator, because they become recognizable and close.

Arturo Álvarez is one of the Spain’s Best Contemporary Designers, according to Culture Trip, an international publication featuring recommendations and content in art, design, gastronomy and travel for every country.
