See you next time, Clerkenwell Design Week 2026

CDW 2026 — the UK’s leading design festival, bringing together the highest concentration of creative companies and architects per square metre in the world — has come to an end, and we couldn’t be more grateful to have been part of it.

It has been a great opportunity to meet visitors, connect with professionals and discover inspiring work from across the industry. This week has reaffirmed what drives us at a·emotional light: a passion for design, lighting and constant innovation.

El Salón: exploring Spanish design through a shared cultural perspective

Beyond our stand, a·emotional light also took part in El Salón, an exhibition curated by Tomás Alonso that brought together a selection of Spanish design brands in London. Organised by ICEX under the Interiors from Spain brand, in collaboration with Disegno, the exhibition explored contemporary design through a shared cultural perspective.

As part of this collective showcase, we presented Baleira Pendant, the new Baleira table version and Mytilus — pieces that reflect our approach to light through materiality, form and craftsmanship.

The collections showcased in London

At a·emotional light, we remain true to our purpose: to create lighting pieces that convey emotion, crafted with an artisanal soul and deep respect for our origins. With this spirit, we presented in London some of our latest collections.

Brétema is inspired by the Galician mist—an ethereal presence that softens the landscape and cloaks it in mystery. It’s a luminaire that reveals subtly, filtering light with gentle delicacy. It is available in sizes Small, Medium and Large.

Umbra, designed by Isaac Piñeiro, by contrast, delves into the interplay between light and shadow, offering a bold, sculptural presence and a more introspective reading of space. By means of simple geometries and the play of chiaroscuro, offers an ambient light that generates ensembles through volumes and projections on surfaces.

Anel was developed by our in-house team with the idea of chandelier and texture, creating this ceiling and suspension proposal. With its circular distribution of light, it offers adequate lighting efficiency for this type of product, and the surface mounting makes it easy to install.

Baleira, designed by Tomás Alonso, reinterprets the timeless geometric shape of the classic dome in steel mesh, radically changing its character and turning it into something ethereal and almost intangible. The light emitted materialises both as direct illumination on the table and as generous ambient lighting, creating a soft and enveloping atmosphere.

Veiga, also by Isaac Piñeiro, is a discreet lamp that harmonises light, colour and form with its surroundings thanks to the colored glass. It is available in three colors: Beige, White and Amathyst. The coloured glass brings a new vibrancy and depth to the design. Carefully chosen tones filter the light in delicate, unexpected ways—adding nuance, richness, and emotional resonance to the atmosphere each lamp creates.
